Gotta get WET!

After finally arriving in Hawaii, we were itching to get into that warm tropical water!

We picked up our Mustang rental and cruised to the house our family had rented in Kona.

As soon as the sun was up the next day we headed out to snorkel along the Kona coast of the Big Island.

We were rewarded with a huge eagle ray that cruised by us on the outside of the reef. Lukas dove down and got a great video that I’ll upload later when we get to a computer! Here’s the still:

Off we GO!!

So excited to be starting our journey!!

After a quick stop in Heathrow we made it to Los Angeles.

The myriad of freeways and roadways were visible from the airplane window that night, as were the rare raindrops on the wing of the plane upon landing!

After working hard to get everything personal in the apartment packed up, we were amazingly able to fit it all into one room to be sealed away until we get back. Thank you so much Monica and Lasse for letting us use your space!

On moving day (Oct 15th) we met our excited new tenants and said “fair well” to our home for an undetermined amount of time!

Wohoo! Welcome to our blog! I have to say, it was a challenge to figure out how to get wordpress to work. I will be working on the details of creating a beautiful blog this week! 😛

More updates on our trip are coming soon… the adventure BEGINS on Sunday, October 16, 2016 with our flight to Hawaii, USA!
